4K starlight and dynamic transcoding technologies take center stage in Bosch Security's proposal at Ifsec 2014

The new 4K surveillance cameras (Ultra High Definition-UHD) with starlight and dynamic transcoding technologies are some of the proposals with which Bosch Security Systems wants to take 'a technological journey with its innovations in IP video' during Ifsec 2014.

Bosch Security Systems will participate again in the Ifsec security exhibition, which this year will take place at ExCeL London 17 al 19 June (stand F700) with the aim of 'taking professionals on a technological journey with the latest innovations in IP video', among which the 4K Ultra HD cameras and Starlight technology stand out, as well as the online Full HD video dynamic transcoding.

4K Ultra HD technology has been integrated into the Dinion IP Ultra video surveillance camera 8000 MP, which Bosch Security presents for the first time at Ifsec 2014. This network device offers a high level of detail that increases the security and protection of facilities, providing superior identification capability when viewing live images or recordings, even in cases of very fast-moving objects or when lighting conditions are very low.

Dinion IP Ultra 8000 MP offers optimal detail for wide-angle applications while reducing the bit rate, which significantly reduces the network bandwidth used and storage costs.

Starlight HD technology

Another of the company's innovations focuses on its Starlight HD technology and megapixel cameras, which capture video images in poorly lit areas where other devices fail, providing high-quality, sharp color images.

With Starlight HD, users will be able to observe details such as the color of clothing or vehicles even at night, whose assistance in the identification of people and objects is crucial. After incorporating this technology into Dinion IP fixed cameras and the Flexidome IP 720p range, Boch will also introduce the new Dinion IP starlight 8000 MP, of 5 megapixels.

All starlight cameras offer superior light sensitivity, greater dynamic range, high resolution and the ability to capture fast-moving objects, for intensive 24-hour surveillance applications×7.

With the aim of meeting the high demand for surveillance and security products in challenging areas, where more and more devices are placed outside buildings, exposed to the elements and adverse weather conditions, Bosch Security will also showcase at Ifsec 2014 its new MIC IP family 7000 HD, with 1080p resolution with WDR and the 720p starlight version, which ensure efficient operation in weather conditions such as rain, snow, fog or strong gusts of wind with a great vibration, as well as situations of extreme lighting or darkness.

Dynamic transcoding technology

Finally, professionals will also be able to learn in detail the benefits of Bosch Security's dynamic transcoding technology, which offers the ability to view video images online in high definition (1.080p) when necessary.

In combination with the Video Security app, this technology allows the user access to live video at any time of day and direct control of the security camera's movement from their mobile phone or to retrieve stored information with forensic search.
