Bosch Security supports 960H video technology with its new Divar digital recorders 3000/5000

Compatible with the latest ultra-high-resolution 960H analog cameras, Bosch Security Systems has the new Divar recorders available 3000/5000 which support this technology and capture more of 30% additional horizontal resolution than comparable 760H systems.

Bosch Security Systems has available its new family of Divar digital recorders 3000/5000, compatible with the latest ultra-high-resolution 960H analog cameras; a technology that allows updating analog systems to the highest possible analog resolution, which represents a cost-effective solution when HD image quality is not yet required.

As Tom Verest explains, product manager de Bosch Security Systems, the Divar recorders 3000/5000 complement our extensive catalog of 960H analog products. With all this, we can offer customers an analog video solution for different application sizes, equally suitable for new installations and for upgrading existing systems.

Thanks to the use of the latest generation of charge-coupled device image sensors (CCD cameras), 960H cameras provide a resolution of 720 TV lines (TVL). With built-in 960H compatibility, Divar recorders capture more than 30% of additional horizontal resolution compared to 760H systems, while their built-in HDMI outputs are compatible with large flat-panel monitors for optimal image viewing.

The new recorders of 4, 8 y 16 channels of the Divar ranges 3000/5000 (DVR) are fully compatible with this 960H image technology and the corresponding products, as they capture and display images in full 960H resolution at speeds of up to 30fps on all channels.

These digital recorders also support recording in QCIF, CIF, 2CIF and 4CIF resolutions, as well as lower frame rates to reduce storage requirements if needed. Using H.264 video technology and G.711 audio compression, Recorders can further reduce bandwidth and storage requirements, without compromising image and audio quality.

Divar 3000/5000 DVRs incorporate preconfigured storage capabilities, with additional expansion kits to increase it up to 12 TB, along with an optional DVD recorder. Customers can easily view images from anywhere using the integrated client software, a web browser, or applications compatible with a wide range of mobile devices. The complete set of alarm management features includes remote notification, as well as email or on-screen alerts.
