With its 3MP, Vivotek's FD8371EV and FD8171 cameras offer great processing power, both day and night and in extreme conditions, making them ideal for applications such as traffic monitoring or city surveillance.

Vivotek FD8371EV and FD8171

The FD8371EV and FD8171 fixed dome network cameras have been designed by Vivotek with multiple image processing technologies to deliver high day/night image quality and ease of use of video.

These Vivotek video surveillance cameras offer 30 fps to 3 megapixels or 60 images per second at a resolution of 1080p. With Smart IR technology they prevent over-exposure and with WDR they can identify image details in extremely bright conditions, as well as in dark environments.

To maintain high video quality and, at the same time, reduce bandwidth consumption, 3D noise reduction technology allows both cameras to capture images in a clear way and in low light conditions. Smart Stream technology, recently introduced in Vivotek's line of 3MP cameras, optimizes the resolution of a moving object and optimizes bandwidth usage.

The FD8371EV is the outdoor version of the FD8171 and is built with a sturdy housing that protects it from external aggression and harsh environments. IP66 rating helps you withstand dust and rain, while the IK10 rating provides protection against possible physical attacks. With a wide temperature range of up to -50 C, the FD8371EV is reliable with extreme cold, as well as in warm weather conditions.

"FD8371EV and FD8171 are two network cameras 3 megapixels with great image processing capacity, that reinforce our wide range of solutions for applications such as traffic monitoring and city surveillance", explains Steve Ma, Vivotek executive vice president.
