The Super LoLux recorders for JVC IP networks support Dual Stream mode (2 different codecs) for each of their channels, can be configured independently of resolution parameters, Frame Rate, Bit Rate, image quality and specific settings for normal recording or event recording modes. The main stream supports WD1 resolution (resolution 960H or 960×480, for panoramic format 16:9) in real time while the substream accommodates video signal with CIF resolution (350×240)/QCIF (176×120).

The VR-D1008-1TB and VR-D1016-1TB models include an internal hard drive of 1 TB, while the VR-D1004-500 includes a hard drive of 500 GB. It is possible to add additional external storage capacity with network drives and SATA systems. Video information can be exported using a SATA device or through the USB port located on the front of the recorder.
