Honeywell's Galaxy Flex V3 anti-intrusion and control solution for SMEs now includes advanced visual alarm verification technology via image sequence and enhanced communication options.

Honeywell Galaxy Flex V3The manufacturer of American security systems Honeywell has incorporated advanced video verification technology and enhanced communication options into the Galaxy Flex V3 anti-intrusion and door control system, designed for SMEs.

Galaxy Flex V3 is a cost-effective security and protection solution, with twelve wired areas on the motherboard to minimize expansion costs, EN50131-3 Grade 2.

The visual verification feature now included in Galaxy Flex V3 offers customers a faster and more reliable form of alarm verification than existing hearing and sequential methods. The alarm receiving plant (Cra) you will receive a number of previous images, during and after the alarm in order to quickly and easily verify a threat.

Thanks to those images, CRA can carry out a more reliable identification of the reason for the alert, reducing false alarms and avoiding unnecessary use of security personnel resources, Installers, Etc. in addition to minimizing the inconvenience and penalties associated with false alarms.

Honeywell's Galaxy Flex V3 provides installers with a faster and more cost-effective solution because the control panel box can hold the receiver via radio, communications modules and other accessories, reducing the deployment of wiring and additional boxes.

Keyboard setup is fast, saving time on the operation of the control panel. Once on, the panel automatically detects remote peripherals thanks to the plug and play function, no additional training required.

Honeywell Galaxy Flex V3The Galaxy Flex V3 allows end users to manage door control and anti-intrusion system easily and efficiently through an intuitive interface, as well as with a quick start guide.

One of the advantages of Galaxy Flex V3 is the flexibility of communications, so that IP alarm signaling is done via Ethernet or GPRS connection, in addition to running on a standard PSTN line. Full GPRS diagnostics ensure fast and reliable configuration, as well as a more flexible installation, because with dual-track GPRS communications installers can eliminate recurring costs currently associated with the use of third-party communicators.

The same, installers using a Galaxy Flex V3 security system with CRA connection can perform maintenance and repairs from a remote location, thanks to the automatic generation of status reports. This two-way remote inspection function allows the CRA to verify the maintenance performed, something that most third-party communicators don't offer.

For Marta Marchini, head of marketing for Spain and Portugal at Honeywell Security Group, "Galaxy Flex V3 is a simple door control and intrusion solution, profitable and with a multitude of functions, designed specifically for SMEs, considering the protection of their own and their assets of paramount importance. Our message with Galaxy Flex V3 is clear: there's no need to give up anything".

This system is integrated with the López Bello receiver and Segurycontrol's IBS and CRA-WIN alarm management software. In addition, other cra solution providers, like Bold and Software AG, are working to complete the integration.
