Bosch Security Systems added the new smart auto-tracking feature for Pan-Tilt-Zoom AutoDome Series HIGH Definition Cameras 800, with Intelligent Video Analysis (Vat) integrated to constantly monitor motions in images.

blankBosch Security Systems announced the firmware version 5.52 for HD PTZ AutoDome Series cameras 800, which adds the new smart auto-tracking feature. Smart Tracking Uses Intelligent Video Analytics (Vat) integrated into AutoDome cameras to constantly monitor motions in images and automatically track objects moving within the camera field of view.

Customers can use Bosch VAT to stipulate conditions that instantly trigger tracking of objects – such as vehicles driving in an area in a specific direction. Operators can also enable object tracking by clicking a moving object within the live shot area, for the camera to keep in the image with vertical horizontal motions and zoom actions. The camera will resume tracking the object after it passes behind a privacy mask or has been hidden by a stationary object.

The combination of a 2MP/1080p camera and a 20x optical zoom ensure that no detail escapes, even license plates or facial recognition. The result: HD PTZ AutoDome Series Cameras 800, equipped with intelligent monitoring are an important asset for general surveillance, supporting security personnel with a powerful automatic tracking system. In addition to the HD PTZ AutoDome Series cameras 800, Smart tracking is also installed on AutoDome Series IP cameras 700, giving customers, requiring automatic tracking, the choice between standard definition or high-definition surveillance.
