Infaimon has launched the Spectrel Long-range surveillance system, composed of a highly sensitive colour CCD camera and a very robust lens system inside a protective housing, specially developed for extreme environments. Spectrel delivers crisp, noise-free images from dawn to dusk, automatically adjusting to light variation, providing excellent visibility conditions throughout the day. The camera and optics, very precisely aligned, allow framing of a moving object, even when zooming in on the image. The system can work at 100% in a temperature range of -40ºC to 70ºC.

Various graphics can be overlaid on the image, such as geographical location, date and time and GPS data.

Spectrel applications include field protection, observation posts, fixed and mobile, surveillance of borders and coasts and also for the protection of critical infrastructures such as ports, airports and power plants.
