More than 20.000 professionals from the security industry will meet at the ASIS fair 2012 of Philadelphia (Us.), where JVC Professional will introduce two new analog IR cameras. The TK-C2301WPRU is a vandal- and dust-proof and waterproof outdoor dome (IP66 supported), while the TK-C8301RU is a box camera with integrated lens. Designed specifically for entry surveillance, both offer the exclusive technology of JVC Super LoLux, as well as the double exdr shutter (wide extended dynamic range), integrated IR lighting, and actual day/night performance.

The Japanese multinational will also test at its stand (3925) its Super LoLux HD technology, performing a live demonstration of this low-light technology and exhibiting its wide range of IP and analog cameras. At the fair, JVC will feature a lightproof black box, equipped with IP security cameras of the Japanese firm and with an adjustable light control and a light meter with digital reading that will allow attendees to control and measure the level of lighting (Lux) inside the box. There will also be a sliding window in the box so attendees can visually check for darkness.. Video outputs from the cameras will be displayed on a monitor in the cockpit to allow comparisons.

Masafumi Nakano, Vice President, Security Division, JVC, Said: “We want ASIS attendees to be able to see for themselves the superior performance of JVC cameras in low light conditions.. JVC cameras are already known for their superior image quality and reliability. Our ASIS demo will show how superior our Super LoLux HD technology is against the competition”.

Super LoLux HD range

This year, JVC has launched a number of new cameras, including its advanced VN-H57 series. With indoor and outdoor models, IP-based Super LoLux cameras deliver real day/night performance, with color images at light conditions as low as 0,15 Lux, more Clear Logic Video Intelligence image processing (C.L.V.I.) integrated for superior dynamic performance, backlight compensation, edge highlighting, and anti-fog capabilities.

The new VN-H37 series, JVC's intermediate line of Super LoLux HD cameras, has four models, including two day/night cameras. The cameras have a CMOS of 1/3 inch offering 2.2MP high-resolution Full HD up to 30 Fps, with a sensitivity of 0,15 lux that matches the performance of JVC's CCD-based cameras.

All Super LoLux HD cameras offer multi-codec support, including M-JPEG, MPEG-4 and H.264 High Profile. Cameras also offer motion detection, privacy masks, and support for ONVIF and PSIA standards, as well as numerous video management software platforms (Vms), including Milestone Xprotect.
