No additional cables

Compared to analog video installations, Axis Camera Companion does not require a central recording device such as a DVR, un NVR o un ordenador. All images are recorded to a standard SD memory card inside the cameras or encoders and even if the network failed the cameras would continue recording. Existing analog cameras can also be integrated into the system using video encoders.

Most Axis network cameras and video encoders with version 5.40 or higher firmware installed support Axis Camera Companion software, which is now available for free download from the Axis website.
