El VR-X1600U y el VR X3200U incluyen las últimas versiones de Milestone XProtect Enterprise y Windows Embedded OS, as well as built-in camera licenses with no recurring charges. The units offer high-definition recording and viewing of an unlimited number of NVRs, cameras, websites and users. More than 1.000 different camera/encoder models can be supported with the installation of the new Milestone device driver package. A wide selection of software add-ons and third-party integrations, in addition to a fully documented SDK, are also available.
Both 3U models include four HDD bays and incorporate a pre-installed TB drive. Three additional units can be easily installed from the front panel for storage of up to 4 TB. The NVRs also support RAID 1, 5 y 10, with optional support for RAID technology 6. There is no operation on the front panel. Instead, all controls are managed locally via a mouse and keyboard with an external monitor or through a remote administrator on the network. A rear I/O panel provides alarm interface support.
Fedja Vehabovic, JVC Europe Product Manager, has stated that “the new VR-X NVRs are based on the inherited trust of JVC's VR-N family of versatile all-in-one recording and playback solutions, in addition to offering Full HD resolution and support for H.264 High Profile, MPEG-4, and M-JPEG. They are the perfect complement to JVC's new Super LoLux HD V.Networks camera line, and are ideal for any installation where high-definition surveillance is required.”
