Aker Security builds a scalable AV-over-IP control room with Cyviz in Norway

Cyviz pone en marcha un nuevo Centro Global de Operaciones de Seguridad para Aker Security en Oslo, combinando una infraestructura de visualización y AV-over-IP a gran escala para facilitar la supervisión y la toma de decisiones en tiempo real.

El Centro Global de Operaciones de Seguridad (GSOC) de Aker Security en Noruega, desarrollado junto al proveedor tecnológico Cyviz, actúa como un centro global que funciona las 24 hours of the day, los 7 days of the week, y gestiona de forma centralizada la seguridad, la inteligencia y la respuesta a incidentes para más de 75 empresas del Grupo Aker.

Ante la creciente complejidad de las amenazas globales, el rápido crecimiento de la empresa y los cambiantes panoramas de seguridad, Aker Security launched a major upgrade of its Global Security Operations Center. The goal was to establish a plataforma segura, reliable and scalable system to unify information from thousands of sources and enable fast, data-driven decision-making.

Designed to manage the increasing complexity of threats for more than 75 portfolio companies, the solution uses a software-based platform that integrates a high-resolution unified videowall with a dual-purpose meeting room. This mission-critical infrastructure unifies thousands of data sources into a single operational view, mejorando significativamente la velocidad y la precisión de la respuesta a incidentes mediante una visualización en tiempo real mejorada y una colaboración fluida. Al dar prioridad a un diseño centrado en el usuario, el proyecto estableció un modelo escalable y resiliente que permite a Aker Security tomar decisiones de mayor precisión y basadas en datos, al tiempo que mantiene la disponibilidad operativa las 24 hours of the day, los 7 days of the week.

Un proyecto desde cero

Para gestionar la creciente complejidad de las amenazas globales, Cyviz y Aker Security colaboraron en el diseño de un nuevo Centro de Operaciones de Seguridad Global (GSOC) partiendo de cero, dando prioridad a la experiencia del usuario y a los flujos de trabajo críticos para la misión. Built on a standardized and software-based platform, the solution ensures a unified and consistent experience that aligns with the broader technological strategy of the Aker Group.

A unified, high-resolution videowall serves as acentral operations hub, aggregating content from thousands of data sources, dashboards and multimedia sources. This visualization allows security teams to collaborate, plan and react effectively to mitigate risks in real time. The unified view significantly enhances the speed and accuracy of decision-making during critical events.

Los operadores pueden instantly change the content status or save and reload layouts, which ensures a smooth exchange of content between operator workstations and the main videowall.

The implementation of the Cyviz platform has transformed the Aker Security Global Security Operations Center into a strategic asset, providing a holistic view of the organization's risk profile on a single dashboard. By prioritizing user-centered design, the project achieved a workspace that optimizes information flow and ensures constant operational resilience.

On the other hand, The integrated meeting room allows for realistic training and simulation exercises, which ensures that operators are prepared for any scenario. Finally, it is worth noting that the software-based platform is a model of modern infrastructure, designed to easily integrate new data points and visual models as the security landscape evolves.
