Una de ellas se encarga del procesamiento de imagen, while the other manages object detection and advanced analytics (more details in Digital Security).

This dual NPU approach of Wisenet 9 allows image quality and analytics to operate independently, ensuring maximum performance without one interfering with the other.

The AI-based detection system of the second generation of the X series, composed of six models, is structured into three independent and configurable streams: metadata transmission, intelligent video analytics and image enhancement.

Thanks to these independent streams, users can customize detection parameters, enable specific functions and minimize unnecessary alerts, with a simple setup of their security operations.

Intelligent video analytics includes features such as conteo de personas y vehículos, gestión de colas, fall detection, mask usage or social distancing, thus covering a wide range of protection and security needs.

The function BestShot captures and transmits the most relevant images of detected objects, cropped directly by AI technology, which speeds up forensic searches. The images are complemented with metadata such as gender, type of vehicle or clothing color to further optimize analysis.

Thanks to AI WDR, these new models of the X series capture precise details in scenes with extreme contrasts, reducing overexposure in brightly lit areas and improving visibility in shadows.

For privacy protection, functionality Dynamic Privacy Masking (DPM) allows mask sensitive elements in real time (faces, license plates, people or vehicles) directly at the edge (edge), using color overlays or mosaic.

RE-ID Technology

The second generation of X series cameras also incorporates technology RE-ID, that uses deep learning to identify people in non-overlapping camera views. For example, it can recognize a person with an orange jacket entering through a door and re-identify them exiting with the jacket open and a hat on in a different camera.

These cameras offer a high level of cybersecurity with features such as Secure Storage, Secure OS y Secure Boot, which prevent unauthorized software execution and ensure data integrity. Besides, they are certified FIPS 140-3 Level 3, meeting the highest standards in video surveillance security.
