El Museo Imperial de Brasil optimiza su seguridad con la IA de Vivotek

He Brazilian Imperial Museum plays a key role in preserving the country's cultural heritage and in enhancing security and optimizing visitor management, has turned to Vivotek solutions to upgrade its video surveillance system.

Located in the historic center of the city of Petrópolis, in Rio de Janeiro, houses one of the most important collections from the Brazilian imperial period, including the crown of Dom Pedro II. As the main national repository of Second Reign artifacts, it displays more than 300.000 historical pieces, from objects to books, making it a vital resource for researchers and history enthusiasts.

As the number of visitors has grown and security demands have evolved, the museum has required a smarter surveillance system to address key concerns such as target protection or visitor flow management.

The Crown Room, where the Imperial Crown of Dom Pedro II is displayed, needed continuous high-level surveillance. Additionally, real-time monitoring was necessary to prevent congestion and enhance the visitor experience.
