Bosch LAS-Beam: adjustable column speakers for voice evacuation

The new series of Bosch LAS-Beam active adjustable column speakers is developed to offer hassle-free integration and high-quality sound from evacuation by voice and public address, with a compact and elegant design to adapt to any installation.

Thanks to the incorporation of the active beam steering technology, LAS-Beam is a solution designed to achieve high speech intelligibility in critical applications, as transportation distribution centers, commercial buildings, large retail stores, sports facilities, cruises and places of worship.

The LAS-Beam series is manufactured in Germany and consists of two speaker models: LAS-Beam-S y LAS-Beam-L; corresponding brackets and expansion kits, along with a configuration interface, Available early in the third quarter of 2025.

The speaker LAS-Beam-S, with a size of 50 cm, has four 3.5” drives, each powered by a specific amplifier channel 100 W, which is processed by an integrated digital signal processing module. This generates a single steerable beam, with a scope of 15 metros.

The model LAS-Beam-L, of 90 cm, has eight 3.5” drives, which is fed and processed just like the previous one, although it generates one or two orientable beams with a scope of 25 metros.

Besides, It is possible to stack this model to form the versions LAS-Beam-XL (with two L units) y 4XL (five L units). These settings provide up to four adjustable beams and cover a range of up to 70 metros for larger installations.

The configuration interface, with easy-to-use software, allows integrators to generate the ideal sound beams for each application in real time, as well as set the equalizer and delay accordingly.

You can also choose between different channel A and B wiring configurations on the internal amplifiers., in order to guarantee operation in case of failure, ideal for voice alarm installations.
