Hanwha Vision SolidEDGE: solid state storage based camera

Hanwha Vision has launched what it calls the first camera on the market based on a solid-state unit (SSD) with a server Wisenet WAVE VMS integrated, SolidEDGE.

This camera is available in two models: PNV-A6081R-E1T y PNV-A6081R-E2T. Both eliminate the need to use an external server, as well as the requirement for a cloud subscription to store video footage or high-speed connectivity to upload videos to the cloud. This allows controlling the data stored locally on-site.

SolidEDGE runs integrated Wisenet WAVE VMS, which means that it is a true serverless solution. It meets the growing need for a more efficient and cost-effective solution that ensures security and protection, without the need for an expensive server that requires a lot of space.

This innovative system does not require programming security and operating system updates, as Windows servers running VMS do.

This makes the SolidEDGE camera particularly attractive for remote installations where there is no room for a server or NVR, such as ATMs, solar parks, electrical substations, level crossings, bus stations and small shops.

Remote access and management

Since the SolidEDGE camera comes equipped with cloud video management via Wisenet WAVE Sync, los usuarios pueden acceder y administrar de forma remota el sistema de vigilancia desde cualquier lugar, utilizando la aplicación móvil Wisenet WAVE.

Additional cameras

Each SolidEDGE camera can connect with up to 5 additional Hanwha cameras or third-party ONVIF-compatible cameras, allowing organizations to expand their surveillance systems as requirements evolve. This raises the total number of cameras per SolidEDGE system to six and provides a more customizable and flexible system structure.
