ISE2021-Barcelona-Mikel-BlackmanMike Blackman, Managing Director of Integrated Systems Events (pictured), We have been closely following conditions in Europe and working their behalf to balance health and safety concerns with the need for trade and in-person interaction.. These have been difficult times for many in the last two years., and although we can't wait to meet with everyone at ISE 2022, by listening to our exhibitors, owners and stakeholders, we have agreed that the best measure is to postpone the edition of the show for three months".

About this decision of the organization, Blackman stresses that "by moving the event to spring, gives time for our community to rebalance and regain confidence in international travel and meetings. We will work closely with all our exhibitors and stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition to the new dates. We look forward to welcoming the global AV community to ISE 2022 in May, in our new headquarters in Barcelona».

ISE2021-BarcelonaAs co-owner of the contest, The Association Avixa, through its CEO, David Labuskes, has pointed out: "Although balancing engagement with both trade and meeting has been difficult in these uncertain times., we believe that the postponement of ISE until May does just that.. Our community longs for the opportunity to reunite in 2022. This calendar makes it more possible for all of us. We are looking forward to the summer of AV, where we will have the opportunity to meet at InfoComm in June and at InfoComm Beijing in July: it couldn't be a better way to do that and reinforce the opportunities and success of our industry.".

Daryl Friedman, CEO of Cedia, also co-owner of the contest, adds that "we want to make sure that ISE 2022 be a great success for both visitors and exhibitors, as it has been for nearly two decades, and that starts with bringing together as much of our community as possible.. We know that the entire home technology industry is excited about the idea of meeting in person., and we are confident that this move to May will ensure the most vibrant return for all participants.".

From the organization they emphasize their desire because "this event is a success and we would like to thank our interested parties -exhibitors, Sponsors, Visitors, media partners, contractors and the Fira Barcelona team- that they continue to support us in this difficult and changing situation".
