Infinet Wireless ayuda en la prevención de incendios del Parque Nacional Burabay

The security network of Infinet Wireless facilitates the transmission of images and videos, captured by the video surveillance cameras installed in Burabay National Park.

Infinet Wireless has helped implement the security network for early fire prevention in Burabay National Park. The initiative is to preserve the integrity of the ecosystem, restore affected natural and historical-cultural complexes and objects.

This nature reserve, with its coniferous forests, healing lakes, unique mountain landscapes, rare fauna and flora; is located in the northeast of Kazakhstan, in the Akmola region, and extends over more than 129.000 hectares. It is part of the state property of the country and one of the specially protected natural areas.

The video surveillance system deployed in Burabay Park is designed to monitor the situation and ensure early detection of forest fires. It is a hardware and software complex with video monitoring points, special software, a geo-information system and wireless data transmission links.

Video surveillance cameras have been installed on telecommunications masts with a height of 30 a 40 metros, providing coverage over long distances. An autonomous power supply is connected to the masts and each tower is powered by solar panels.

The wireless network between the masts and the central monitoring point has been organized based on the solutions Quanta 5 Point-to-Point con un ancho de banda de hasta 450 Mbps. A total of 14 radioenlaces, que dan cobertura a la mayor parte del territorio de la reserva.

El equipo requerido debía soportar las condiciones climáticas más desfavorables de la región, como fuertes vientos y lluvias, cambios de temperatura y nieblas, además de poder conectarse al suelo en caso de caída de rayo.

Se desplegaron algunos enlaces de radio en la superficie del lago Borovoe, que se encuentra en el territorio de la reserva natural. La superficie del agua es conocida por tener una fuerte influencia en los radio enlaces debido a la propagación de la señal por múltiples trayectos y la distorsión de amplitud.
