Hanwha Wisenet P NVR

The five Wisenet P NVRs that Hanwha Techwin just presented integrate video analytics with Deep Artificial Intelligence, providing a tool to detect and track people or vehicles.

Hanwha Techwin just introduced five NVR Wisenet P that can apply Artificial Intelligence metadata to images captured by most Wisenet cameras that do not have it. This functionality allows you to search for people and vehicles quickly and accurately.

Video analysis with Artificial Intelligence/Deep Learning no licensing cost, integrated into NDAA-certified NVRs, offers a wide range of search criteria such as, For example, search for people of a certain age group or gender, as well as if they wear glasses or carry a bag. Similarly,, the search for vehicles can be reduced to those of a particular color and, determine if it is a bicycle, bus, Car, motorcycle or truck.

NVRs can also be configured to trigger real-time alarm notifications if an object is detected.

New Wisenet P network NVRs with AI:

  • PRN-1605B2: 32 Channels. Until 8 channels.2 hard drive bays.
  • PRN-3205B2: 32 Channels. Until 16 Channels. 2 hard drive bays.
  • PRN-3205B4: 32 Channels. Until 16 Channels. 4 hard drive bays.
  • PRN-6405B4: 64 Channels. Until 32 Channels. 4 hard drive bays.
  • PRN-6405DB4: 64 Channels. Until 32 Channels. Dual switched power supply (Smps). 4 hard drive bays.

Bullet cameras, Fixed, Ptz, 360° fisheye, multidirectional and thermal selected from the Wisenet X ranges, Q, Q and T are among the list of cameras compatible with the new NVR. In addition, as is the case with the Wisenet X NVRs of 32 And 64 Channels, the new devices support all the functions integrated in the cameras with artificial intelligence of the Wisenet P range, including classification and detection of faces and license plates.

Operators can take full advantage of NVR functionality with the help of UX 2.0, a user interface that offers the option to zoom, drag-and-drop, as well as a timeline preview feature and allow editing of all event settings in a single window.

Bandwidth and flexibility

NVRs feature complementary compression technology WiseStream II, that improves bandwidth efficiency by up to one 75%, compared to current H.264 technology, when combined with H.265 compression.

NVR's ability to support cameras with dual video transmission at different resolutions can reduce bandwidth requirements.

NVR SATA hard drives support S.M.A.R.T technology. (self-supervision, analysis and reporting), that detects and alerts operators to potential impending hardware failures.

Offering N+1 failover support, NVRs also feature automatic recovery backup (Arb) to provide recording continuity and eliminate the risk of loss of video evidence.

ARB makes it easy to seamlessly transfer and store images stored on a camera's SD card if communication between one of the NVRs and a Wisenet camera is interrupted.

In addition, the new PRN-6405DB4 NVR has a dual switched mode power supply (Smps), to provide recording continuity in mission-critical applications.

Security personnel can apply bookmarks to prevent important videos from being overwritten and NVRs can be programmed to automatically remove the marked video after a defined period of time, in order to ensure compliance with the GDPR.

The installation time of the new NVRs is minimized thanks to the fact that technicians can connect remotely to them. This is carried out via a smartphone or tablet without having to set up a complex network by using P2P and unique QR product codes.. In addition, can be configured to suit end-user requirements with the help of an intuitive interface and installation wizard.

"The accuracy of video analytics with artificial intelligence Deep Learning integrated into these new NVRs provides a powerful tool for detecting and tracking people or vehicles that may be involved in criminal activity.", comments Uri Guterman, Head of Product and Marketing at Hanwha Techwin Europe. "By eliminating false alarms that can occur when sensors or standard motion detection technology are used to detect activity, NVRs significantly reduce wasted time and allow security personnel to focus on responding to real incidents and emergencies.".
