Hanwha at MFG

Depending on the number of charging points available at each location, AGE CCTV has installed one or more bullet cameras in electric vehicle charging centers Hanwha Wisenet QNO-8080R 5 Megapixel.

The UK service station operator, Motor Fuel Group (Mfg) has installed cameras Hanwha Wisenet to protect your electric vehicle charging centers (Ev).

With the increase in sales of electric vehicles, MFG is accelerating its plans to offer very fast charging points for electric vehicles (Ev). Until 12 charging points at each location, in your network of more than 900 Stations. Dedicated Wisenet video surveillance systems are being installed to deter and detect vandalism, as well as to maximize the customer experience, helping MFG staff identify if any recharging equipment has been damaged.

The contract to install the Wisenet systems was awarded to AGE CCTV, a division of AGE Electrical Services. "We have installed new video surveillance solutions and improved the existing systems in the MFG service stations for more than 15 Years. In all cases we use Wisenet cameras in accordance with MFG's decision to have a single point of supply for Cameras and Recording Devices from Hanwha Techwin", comments Jason Gargiulo, general manager of AGE CCTV.

Depending on the number of charging points available at each location, AGE CCTV has installed one or more bullet cameras Wisenet QNO-8080R of 5 Megapixel. This is a day/night team, equipped with integrated IR illuminators that allow you to capture images of optimum quality, regardless of lighting conditions.

It also benefits from the wide dynamic range (Wdr) Improved, that works to 120 Db, to produce light images of scenes that contain a complex mix of bright and dark areas that typically generate overexposed or underexposed images.

Since many MFG charging centers (Ev) are not taken care of, authorized MFG personnel can remotely access live footage captured by H.265 Wisenet QNO-8080R cameras at any time or retrieve recorded video of any incident. They can do this from a desktop or laptop using Hanwha Techwin's management software or comfortably through their smartphones or tablets using the Wisenet mobile app.

The images are transmitted using 4G technology and, in this sense, WiseStream II complementary compression technology integrated into the QNO-8080R camera has proven to be an important benefit. Bandwidth consumption efficiency improves by up to one 75 %, compared to current H.264 technology, when wiseStream II is combined with H.265 compression.
