Hanwha Wisenet XRN-1620SB1

The new NVR Wisenet X of Hanwha Techwin make video analytics with AI/Deep Learning affordable even for applications that only require a few cameras.

Hanwha Techwin has introduced three new NVR Wisenet X of 8 And 16 Channels, that enable even small businesses to leverage analytics with integrated AI/Deep Learning, no cost, in Wisenet cameras with Artificial Intelligence.

The new Wisenet NVR models are: XRN-820S, XRN-1620SB1 And XRN-1620B2. The first is a team of 8 channels that offers camera recording over the network up to 100 Mbps with data storage 12 TB through 2 sata hard drive bays.

Like the previous one the XRN-1620SB1 16 channels includes PoE and provides camera recording over the network up to 140 Mbps with data storage 24 TB through 4 sata hard drive bays.

Finally,, the XRN-1620B2 of 16 channels offers camera recording over the network up to 140 Mbps with data storage up to 80TB via 8 sata hard drive bays.

"There are many ways in which video analysis with Artificial Intelligence / Deep Learning can improve the value of a video surveillance solution, and these new NVRs make the technology affordable even for applications that only require a few cameras.", explains Uri Guterman, Product and marketing director at Hanwha Techwin Europe.

Video analytics with Artificial Intelligence/Deep Learning simultaneously detect and classify several types of objects, including people, Vehicles, faces and license plates, and are compatible with Wisenet artificial intelligence algorithms. Hanwha Techwin Exclusives, these identify the attributes of objects or people as the age group, the sex or color of clothing a person is wearing.

Attributes are saved as metadata in NVRs along with images captured by cameras, allowing users to search for specific objects or incidents. Algorithms are even able to recognize whether a person wears glasses or holds a purse.

The installation time of the new NVRs is minimized thanks to the fact that technicians can connect remotely to them. This is done through a smartphone or tablet without having to set up a complex network by using P2P and QR product codes. Nvr configuration is done with the help of an intuitive interface and an installation wizard.

Security personnel can apply bookmarks to prevent important videos from being overwritten, and NVRs can be scheduled to automatically delete the tagged video after a defined period of time to ensure GDPR compliance.

NVRs also comply with the NDAA, which is a fundamental requirement that consultants, system designers and system integrators should be taken into account when submitting bids for projects involving clients operating internationally.

"Together with Wisenet cameras with AI, NVRs offer a high degree of detection accuracy, while minimizing false alarms. In addition to offering users a powerful tool to quickly identify any suspicious activity and give the corresponding response, they also offer to companies, and in particular to the retail sector, the opportunity to capture and analyze business intelligence", clarifies Uri Guterman.
