Wisenet PNM-9022V and PNM-9322VQP are NDDA compliant and feature advanced cybersecurity features.

The two new Wisenet cameras Hanwha Techwin, models PNM-9022V and PNM-9322VQP, equip the company's Wisenet7 chipset and reinforce its multidirectional device strategy.

Wisenet PNM-9022V uses technology blending alpha to join the overlapping images, captured by its four Full HD sensors, at a 209-degree 8,3 Megapixel, ensuring that an operator never loses sight of a person or vehicle moving in a wide area.

This camera replaces wisenet PNM-9020V, and can also be used to capture 180o images, so operators can take advantage of digital PTZ functionality on two of the device's channels.

With the Wisenet7 chipset installed, the four sensors of the MODEL PNM-9022V, including lenses with fixed focal points 2,8 Mm, can capture high-definition color images when the lighting level is only 0,03 Lux .

Image enhancement technology

Wisenet7 also features Hanwha Techwin's Extreme WDR technology that, with a performance of up to 120 Db, uses new advances in local contrast enhancement and scene analysis for the camera to capture ultra-clear images of scenes containing a complex combination of light and dark areas.

Lens distortion correction technology (Ldc) PNM-9022V corrects distortion created by the use of wide-angle lenses, what creates images that look more like what the human eye sees.

As part of the growing number of new cameras that make up the UL CAP-certified Wisenet7 chipset, THE PNM-9022V camera complies with NDAA (National Defense Authorization Act) and includes an extensive list of technologies to protect it from cyberattacks.

It also benefits from a device certificate issuance system from the manufacturer, integrating unique certificates into Wisenet7 products during the development phase and manufacturing process. This further improves the camera's ability to prevent hackers from tampering with its firmware.

Two Micro SD/SDHC and SDXC slots allow you to store up to 1 TB of video or data on the camera itself, in the event of a network outage. Like this, it is possible to retrieve video streams of any incident captured by the camera that may have been lost from the VCR when the network connection has been restored.

To minimize the time required to install, The PNM-9022V camera has a hinged back plate that provides easy access for cable connection. Installers only need to install the backplane, fix the camera in place and tighten two screws.

Other features include the integration of a set of intelligent video analytics (Vat), which includes audio detection, blur, Directional, movement, virtual line and camera manipulation.

Added to this is heat map video analysis, that provides business intelligence about customer density and purchasing behavior; support for WiseStream II complementary compression technology, as well as with H.265 compression formats, H.264 and MJPEG.

PNM-9022V is IP66 rated, IK10 and Nema4X for water protection, dust and mechanical impacts, and PoE+ power supply, that avoids having to install a separate power supply and wiring for the camera.

Multidirectional Camera and PTZ

For its part, the new model PNM-9322VQP has four sensors and an integrated PTZ camera, designed to provide a cost-effective solution for detecting and tracking objects in open areas.

The option of interchangeable lens modules, of 2 And 5 Megapixel, allows camera sensors to work together to capture 360-degree images smoothly, with a resolution of up to 20 Megapixel.

In addition, its PTZ module can be configured to zoom in and track a moving object or move to a default position, user-defined, when the multidirectional camera's line crossing detection function detects activity.

It is also able to 'transfer control' to cameras covering adjacent areas, so that operators can continue to observe people or vehicles as they move out of their field of view.

Equipped with Wisenet7 chipset, the PNM-9322VQP also complies with NDAA and replaces the PNM-9320VQP camera, with the added benefit of including audio support.

"These two new models perfectly complement our multisensor cameras 2, 3, 4 And 5 existing channels that, together, enable customers to offer an affordable multi-directional camera solution for virtually any video surveillance project", uri Guterman says, Product and marketing director at Hanwha Techwin Europe.
