Panasonic I-Pro and Mobotix offer business security against COVID-19 with thermal technology

The developed solution combines the M16/S16 thermal cameras with the Panasonic i-Pro Video Insight VMS add-on. The goal is to automatically detect when an individual's body temperature is elevated and issue an alert.

Panasonic i-Pro Sensing Solutions has announced the availability of a new thermal camera solution aimed at helping organizations maintain health and safety.

This solution combines the cameras Mobotix M16/S16 with the functionality of a new add-on for video management systems (VMS) Panasonic i-Pro Video Insight to automatically detect when an individual's body temperature exceeds a preset threshold and provides an alert to the appropriate personnel.

The Panasonic i-Pro Video Insight VMS plugin and the combined functionality of Mobotix thermal cameras trigger an alarm when a user-defined preset temperature threshold is detected.
