Hanwha launches a PoE NVR range with Wisenet Wave built-in

This line is made up of the equipment of 8 WRN-810 channels and the 16 WRN-1610S channels. They have a powerful processor and offer an effective and optimized solution to use the multiple functionalities of the latest version of the VMS, Wisenet Wave 4.1.

Hanwha Techwin has launched a new range of PoE NVRs that leverages video management software (VMS) Wisenet Wave, without having to install a server. This is made up of the 8 Wisenet WRN-810 channels and the 16 WRN-1610S channels, which have a powerful processor and offer an effective solution, integrated and optimized to use the multiple functionalities of the latest version of the VMS.

The WRN-810 model stores up to 12 Terabytes of data, thanks to two internal SATA hard drives, while the WRN-1610S stores up to 24 Terabytes of data, with four SATA hard drives.

A key objective of the two new NVRs has been to minimize the total cost of ownership of Wisenet Wave. Hanwha Techwin has achieved this by avoiding the need to purchase, install, host and maintain a server, which is normally required to run the software. Besides, the installation cost is further reduced with the built-in PoE switches, as they supply power to the connected cameras.

Designed to meet the needs of small and medium-sized surveillance projects, with an emphasis on a simplified user experience, Wisenet Wave features an intuitive 'drag and drop' tool that makes it very easy for operators to configure a layout of live or recorded images on a single screen or a video wall, with customizable designs and sizes.

This tool is compatible with the 'Layout as Action' feature, which triggers a predefined screen layout to open automatically when an event occurs, while a wide range of smart search options, including keyword search, calendar and time segment, allow operators to quickly retrieve recorded videos of specific incidents.

In addition to ease of use, a virtual PTZ allows operators, with just a few mouse clicks, to zoom in to see enlarged details of any suspicious activity.

Wave 4.1

Both NVRs are integrated with the latest version of Wisenet Wave 4.1, que está equipada con una larga lista de nuevas funcionalidades prácticas: notificaciones de eventos de alarma definidos por el usuario -que pueden enviarse a dispositivos móviles- y configuración de las cámaras conectadas desde Wisenet Wave, sin tener que abrir una ventana de navegador separada.

Una búsqueda inteligente mejorada permite configurar una región de interés de eventos (ROI), para limitar una búsqueda a una zona específica de un campo de visión, mientras que la integración con las cámaras Wisenet con Inteligencia Artificial permite que los atributos de objetos clasificados o personas sean los que se muestran en vídeos grabados.

Los usuarios también pueden buscar evidencias de objetos específicos o personas filtrando los metadatos grabados.
