With the growing technological development of security cameras, PoE switches have played an essential role in the evolution of video surveillance, while its current design is too generic to meet the security needs of the facility.

That's why, Zyxel has developed the GS1300 and GS1350 series PoE switches specifically for video surveillance applications, for which they have a wide variety of ports and efficient transmission power to get security camera networks up and running with ease, even with all ports connected.

In addition, each model is equipped with additional uplink ports, allowing you to connect to the network core without occupying PoE ports for IP cameras.

often, IP cameras and other security devices need to be installed in remote locations, but standard PoE switches have transmission distances of up to 100 Meters, while Zyxel's surveillance switches offer a transmission distance of 250 meters for a wide and flexible variety of deployment.

The GS1300 and GS1350 switches have a front panel for quick and easy device management. PoE Led light indicates when switch power consumption is reaching its maximum capacity, making it easy to adjust the grid before power is lacking.

In addition, the GS1350 series has a reset button one-touchthat allows users to quickly resolve errors by going back to the previous operational state.

Composed of four switch models, the GS1350 series incorporates features designed to meet the most complicated management and maintenance needs of video surveillance applications, such as automatic IP camera recovery if it detects a failure, as well as continuous PoE to supply power uninterruptedly to devices, even during maintenance, firmware or configuration updates.

Since switch stability is critical for video surveillance networks and outdoor camera cabling is often susceptible to environmental impacts, the GS1350 series has a patented design that improves surge protection.

Crowley Wu, Vp. Zyxel's SBU networking, explains that "everyone talks about how IoT applications will create future business opportunities, that's why we've combined our R&D with customer proposals to create these switches and take advantage of the huge opportunities of IoT".
