Ruybesa DAI in tunnel Jorda BesosThe control division of Ruybesa has just completed the installation and commissioning of a DAI control system (automatic detection of incidents) for the Jorda-Besós tunnel, covering a branch line of the Ronda de Dalt, in Barcelona.

This is the first of a series of projects that will be carried out in the ring roads of this city and in which Ruybesa will participate by providing complete solutions equipped with state-of-the-art technology.

Ruybesa DAI in tunnel Jorda BesosThe system is composed of a series of cameras associated with a specific control software and a recording system. With this infrastructure you can detect incidents that occur in the tunnels, as stopped vehicles, Withholding, possible objects on the roadway, vehicles driving in the opposite direction or the presence of pedestrians. There are also mini domes cameras controlling, both the emergency exits and the accesses to the technical rooms and monitoring the SOS posts and the mouths of the tunnels.

These facilities are part of the works scheduled to cover most of the Dalt round, that you manage 175.000 vehicles per day at high speed, hence the importance of providing it with an optimal system to ensure safety in traffic. It will be taken as a reference, following the same criteria of equipment and installations in others, as it has considerable advantages in overcoming the safety problems suffered by long urban tunnels.
