Bosch equips Mouka factories with Aviotec video-based fire detection solution
To secure Lagos facilities, Benin and Kaduna, Bosch proporcionó 34 Aviotec devices for fire detection, alarms and strobes. All connected to a Series addressable fire panel 1200.
The manufacturing company Flour fue fundada en 1959 and has evolved to position itself as the leading supplier of branded mattresses in Nigeria. Con 800 employees and production facilities in Lagos, Benin and Kaduna, sells foam and polyurethane blocks to retailers and wholesalers, bedding and duvets.
Due to the highly flammable nature of foam and polyurethane materials, Fire safety in manufacturing facilities is a major concern. This is why I needed a solution that was reliable and effective..
To respond to your needs I implement Bosch Aviotec, a video based solution, with VdS certification, that detects smoke and flames at their source, much faster than standard detectors.
Software within each device analyzes video images to look for visual patterns associated with fires, like a specific movement, This is how I take shape or change color. When connected to IP-based video management solutions, images provide additional information for alarm verification or fire location.
Bosch proporcionó 34 Aviotec devices for video-based fire detection, alarms, strobe lights and an external sprinkler system, all connected to a serial addressable fire panel 1200.
With its ability to detect flames and smoke at a very early stage, Bosch video-based fire detection system is a real asset at all three Mouka facilities. It allows increasing the safety of hundreds of employees in factories; shortens alarm response times minimizing the risk of potential damage to equipment and product inventories; and analyzes the cause when an incident occurs.
