TSA selects Unisys to protect baggage and traveler inspection equipment at U.S. airports

The company will ensure and develop with Unisys Stealth a series of mission-critical applications that connect, protect and integrate security scanning equipment at more than four hundred airports in the country.

Unisys has announced that it has been selected by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) to develop, to implement and maintain a series of mission-critical applications at more than four hundred U.S. airports. The project, with a maximum budget over five years of 250 million dollars, it will be developed within the TSA technology program's integrated support services network, and it will feature a scalable and secure platform that integrates passenger and luggage data to understand risks and threats in real-time.

The multinational will develop comprehensive applications and offer operational support services to connect and integrate up to 14.000 TSA security devices using the Unisys Stealth solution, which helps organizations of any size fight cybercrime by easily deploying micro-segmented security elements throughout the network.
