Vivotek ND9541 network cameras, along with a high capacity NVR, They are part of the new IP video surveillance system integrated by A.S.. Security & Surveillance.
Founded in 1972 as a non-profit organization, Warplane Heritage It is the largest museum in Canada whose objective is to protect the more than fifty historical aircraft used by the army of this country from World War I and II to the most recent bombers of the armed conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan., to show and make known this valuable heritage.

In order to preserve and ensure the good activity of this facility for visitors, as well as his legacy, the Government of Ontario, through its culture organ, launched a process to modernize the video surveillance system.
The project to secure this facility, both inside and outside, where the hangar and parking are located, has been awarded to the Canadian systems integrator A.S. Security & Surveillance, you have selected the manufacturer's technology Vivotek.
Specifically, Sixteen network cameras of different models and one IP video recorder have been installed. 32 canales (model ND9541) from this manufacturer. One of the challenges of this project has been the hangar, where there are about fifty historic airplanes, since the perimeter that covers it, which also includes parking for about four hundred vehicles, has low-light areas that require powerful, long-distance infrared sensing equipment.
The option has been the installation of bullet cameras of the Vivotek model IB836B-HT, Equipped with a 2MP Full HD sensor and WDR and SNV technologies for high-quality video capture in places with high light contrasts or low lighting, and with anti-vandal and outdoor certification (IK10 and IP66). This device has IR illuminators, with coverage of up to 30 meters away
As part of the project, To manage the cameras, the NVR model ND9541 from Vivotek is available., with connection capacity of up to 32 network cameras, operate with four hard drives to store images and H.265 codec. The dimensions of this installation have required the help of a PoE extender to increase the range of a pair of cameras located inside, specifically the AP-FXC model-0210 offering a distance of up to 300 metros
Added to this is the VivoCam PoE L2+ Switch (Modlo AW-Gev-264-3), that provides power to manage the network cameras used, facilitating its configuration and that of the video recorder and the CMS of this manufacturer.
