Aceros del Toro protects its facilities with an IP video surveillance network based on Vivotek

In order to guarantee reliability and security in its manufacturing plants and offices, it decided to implement an IP video surveillance infrastructure.. A project that has been carried out hand in hand with the company Novolan Computers and Networks using the technology of Vivotek.

The project proposed a large area to cover, including indoor and outdoor spaces, manufacturing areas, offices and surveillance cabins. To respond to all the needs of the company, Vivotek supplied a solution consisting of 40 Full HD cameras integrated into an IP video surveillance network.

In the exterior areas of the facilities, they have been installed 15 IP8362 bullet type equipment in order to cover an area of ​​more than two thousand square meters.

This camera offers Full HD resolution in 16:9 and offers WDR functionality, providing sharp images in both the bright Mexican sun and the dark of night. Besides, Its IP67 housing protects it against rain and dust, guaranteeing its operation in any weather condition, which is very appropriate given the area where the Aceros del Toro facilities are located..

For the office areas, it was decided to implement 10 IP8335H cameras, a device that is capable of producing clear images regardless of the lighting conditions of the room. With a bala type format, It has an HD WDR CMOS sensor and the WDR Pro function allows it to capture light and dark parts. It also has a P-iris lens that makes it ideal for monitoring hallways and offices where natural and artificial light mix..

For guard houses, It has been decided to install the FD8335H fixed dome cameras, given its audio recording capability and compatibility with door metal detectors. And on the outside of these rooms, two SD8313E domes have been installed., as they offer wide coverage and provide high resolution images. These are used to monitor interior access areas..

Finally, two IB8367 bullet type network cameras have been located inside and outside the warehouse. This team of 2 MP is ideal for long-range surveillance applications, and are equipped with Smart IR.

Besides, the footage from the network cameras 8 channels are recorded on an ND8321 recorder and the entire system is connected through the Vivotek Vast software.
