With integrated IR lighting, advanced sensor and encoder technology and a special filter, the manufacturer Dallmeier has presented on the market a special camera for the automatic recognition of vehicle license plates, model DF5200HD-IR-ANPR.

This camera offers high-resolution, monochrome video for accurate and fast license plate recognition 24/7, independent of environmental influences or lighting changes between day and night. For this it has an optimal infrared sensitivity and permanently provides IR images with a high contrast.

By limiting to the infrared zone, disturbing daylight and ambient conditions can be excluded. In addition, takes full advantage of the intense IR reflection of modern license plates to capture sharp, high-resolution images of detail and provide uninterrupted accurate license plate recognition.

This high infrared sensitivity of the DF5200HD-IR-ANPR camera is supported by the integrated homogeneous IR illumination, based on high performance semi-secret LEDs 850 Nm, with a range of illumination of up to 18 Meters.

Dallmeier DF5200HD-IR-ANPR has special presets to offer optimal images for license plate recognition with Sedor ANPR Server, allowing quick and easy adaptation of settings to different capture scopes.

The camera has RAM that the EdgeStorage function uses for the storage of the video stream in case of network failure; once restored, SmartBackfill function takes care of fast transmission to the Smavia recording system, that memorizes the video stream at full speed and continues recording the live stream without loss or breakage.
