Genetec SV-16v3: the new generation of network security with extended video storage

The new SV-16v3 network security device is the latest addition from the company to its SC range, which, in addition to higher processing speed and flexibility, offers connectivity to Genetec's cloud file service to store video.

Defined as the new generation network security appliance of Genetec, the SV-16v3 security system was officially launched at the ASIS event 2015, recently held in the Californian city of Anaheim (USA).

The SV-16v3 features a Intel Core i3 processor to provide higher speed and flexibility, as well as connectivity to Genetec's cloud file service for extended video storage, thus reducing investment in this regard.

This NVR can support sixteen video cameras and the same number of readers, thanks to the pre-installed SV control panel, which also ensures easy setup and configuration for quick deployment of the video surveillance and access control system in small and medium installations.

Available on the market before the end 2015, SV-16v3 provides real-time notifications, alarm management and video viewing thanks to support for web client and the company's mobile security center. Besides, an automatic update tool ensures that the latest software versions are installed as soon as the system is configured.
