Etralux and Electronica Trafic, awarded the videosurveillance and voice communication system for Jardín del Turia
The City Council of Valencia, through the Department of Citizen Security, has awarded the videosurveillance and communication system of the Turia Riverbed to the joint venture formed by Electronica Trafic and Etralux, consisting of fifteen cameras (fixed and domes), four license plate recognition systems, and four SOS intercom posts.
The award of the project, to 533.200 euros, the joint venture formed by two companies Etra Group (Electronica Trafic and Etralux), the only ones that submitted bids in the City Council of Valencia to deploy the videosurveillance and voice communication system in the Turia River Garden, se compone de siete cámaras fijas y ocho domos en alta definición, software de reconocimiento de matrículas y cuatro postes de intercomunicación para emergencias.
The works for the installation of the video surveillance system will begin shortly with the opening of trenches for the deployment of 10.000 meters of fiber optic cable to which the networked video surveillance cameras will be connected, which will be placed on existing poles and streetlights; with license plate recognition software at the access points to the channel and the intercom posts.
The new system will be managed and monitored from the control center located at the headquarters of the Valencia Local Police, specifically in the data processing center (data center), and the recorded images will be stored for a month.
