Tredess has been selected for the realization of the project “Subministro and installation do equipamento necessary for homoxenization and remote visualization of videovixilance system two portos do EPPG”, encompassing the ports of Tragove, Vilanova de Arousa, Foz, Burela, Celeiro, Ribadeo, My dear, Testal, Freixo, Ribeira, Corme, A Pobra do Caramiñal, Sada, Brens-Cee, Rianxo, Canido, Cangas de O Morrazo, O Xufre e Vilaxoán. The objective is to homogenize the facilities of all port enclosures and connect all systems with the control centers of each area as well as with the plant in Santiago de Compostela.

In the proposed video surveillance system, responsibility for the control of recordings is assumed by the port body since it is the public administration that has competence in this regard in not other groups in the sector. To do this, all necessary permissions have been processed under data protection regulations. This device will be gradually implanted on the Galician coast. The scope of coverage of the plan is progressively determined at different stages and covers ports in the three coastal provinces according to their characteristics, magnitudes of activity and needs. This first phase will take precedence over the most prominent ports, the economic heading necessary to continue the implementation in the next 2013.

Currently, because of its relevance, video surveillance systems are already working on Honey, Ribadeo, Burela and Celeiro, thanks to the exclusive pre-processing that allowed the situation of the cameras on these docks to be regularized more quickly.

With the installation of a video surveillance device along the entire coast, Portos de Galicia reinforces the control task it performs in the 122 ports of the Xunta. In this sense, it should be remembered that the public body is responsible for maintaining the right safety conditions to minimize the risk of accidents, but it doesn't have, However, legal duty to maintain a surveillance service 24 hours by land and sea to avoid intentional incidents. In fact, Portos de Galicia does not charge its users any fees for this concept. Despite everything, from the Autonomic Administration it establishes the importance of bringing the necessary measures to increase as much as possible the control of portuairos infrastructures and equipment, as well as users' fleet and gadgets.
