Dallmeier offers the IPS 2400, a new SMAVIA device with integrated storage system

The integrated storage system (8x 3.5″ HDDs) allows for high storage capacity. A sophisticated hardware concept and perfectly coordinated components allow for high recording speed. Due to the 'EasyChange' functionality, the hard drives can be easily and conveniently replaced from the front of the device in case of an HDD failure (hot-swappable in connection with RAID 5/6).

The IPS 2400 is characterized by its compact design, as well as low power consumption and low heat emission. Can be mounted in a 19-inch rack″ using the 19-inch bracket″ included in the delivery package.

The preloaded SMAVIA Recording Server software is compatible with standard resolutions, as well as Full HD (up to 1080p) and up to 8 megapixels. Cameras compatible with RTSP and ONVIF can be configured and recorded with SMAVIA. Connection to an Active Directory user management is possible via the LDAP protocol. Evaluation of live and recorded images can be done with the SMAVIA Viewing Client (an access license, called “basic license”, is included) or with SeMSy via Ethernet (LAN/WAN). PRemote-HD, a special method developed by Dallmeier that allows the transmission of HDTV streams even at low bandwidths, is supported in real time.
