Global Security Products launches a new model of anti-theft alarms for the textile sector

The company GSP - Global Security Products -, specialized in the distribution of electronic security and anti-theft prevention solutions for the retail market, has launched new anti-theft security solutions for the textile sector, the Alarm Tags, available with different types of attachment to the item and with two independent security levels.

Global Security Products, a company specialized in the distribution of electronic security and anti-theft prevention solutions, has presented its new Alarm Tags, anti-theft security systems specifically for the textile sector. The solution comes in two variants with an innovative design available as a 'pin' or a loop, featuring two levels of security: One first that would trigger the alarms of the EAS antennas (anti-theft antennas placed at the entrance of the commercial establishment) in case the item reaches the outside, and a second that would trigger the alarm of the Alarm Tag itself in case of an attempt to tamper with it.

Joao Fanha, Marketing Director of GSP, has commented: This type of anti-theft security technologies, arises from the needs of current stores: a self-service store concept, where the user's experience and freedom to try out the displayed products take precedence. Nowadays, studying what surrounds us is essential for business success, and thus be able to offer what society really needs.

Los dos modelos disponibles de Alarm Tag se diferencian esencialmente en la forma de adherencia al producto protegido, adaptándose a la forma y características de cada artículo:

·Alarm Tag con Pin: Este dispositivo se presenta con un pin “inteligente” que dota de libertad de prueba al usuario, contando con dos niveles de alarma, emitiendo inmediatamente una señal sonora en caso de tentativa de manipulación del mismo. Esta alarma presenta varias ventajas: dimensiones reducidas (49 x 36 x 20mm), menor consumo de energía y mayor duración de la batería (de tres a cinco años). Además la forma de instalación y manipulación es sencilla e intuitiva para el personal del establecimiento.

·Alarm Tag con lazo: Similar al modelo anterior, esta alarma presenta una forma de adhesión al artículo mediante una espiral de cable, respondiendo así a diferentes necesidades de protección. El cable del dispositivo se une al expositor, dejando el espacio libre de aparatosos sistemas de seguridad. Con este sistema, no es necesaria la instalación de antenas de seguridad EAS. En el caso de que alguien forzara el dispositivo de seguridad o intentara cortar el cable, saltaría la alarma del propio dispositivo. Este modelo está disponible con distinta longitud de cable, adaptándose a las necesidades de cada artículo y establecimiento.
