La Conferencia de Seguridad de Múnich confía en el control de accesos de Veridos

The access control system of Veridos, majority-owned by Giesecke+Devrient (G+D), has been installed at the main venue of the conference held in Germany, where the parallel events took place.

The Munich Security Conference (MSC), which concluded on 15 February its sixty-second edition in this German city, has once again chosen the company's technology Veridos for the access control of its more than 1.000 participants -heads of State and Government, ministers and senior representatives of international organizations- coming from 120 countries.

The Veridos access control system has been specifically adapted to meet the strict security requirements of the conference, en el hotel Bayerischer Hof como sede principal y en el Rosewood Munich. Los propios puntos de acceso han sido objeto de una actualización visual completa, con verificación biométrica through reconocimiento facial automatizado.

Los participantes en la MSC han recibido acreditaciones de acceso personalizadas, producidas por Giesecke+Devrient, que incorporan elementos de seguridad ópticos y chips RFID de alta seguridad suministrados por su socio NXP Semiconductors.

Al atravesar los pórticos de acceso, las tarjetas se leen de forma inalámbrica y, simultaneously, las cámaras capturan la imagen del participante. El sistema verifica tanto la autorización de acceso como la identidad mediante tecnología de reconocimiento facial. This proceso sin interrupciones permite un acceso rápido, fluido y altamente seguro, sin obstaculizar el flujo de participantes.
