Sicur Cyber will analyze the convergence between physical and digital security and AI

From 24 al 27 February 2026, this security contest organized by Ifema Madrid reaffirms its role as a reference platform in this sector, in which technological systems are essential for comprehensive protection.

In a context in which threats no longer only cross doors but also networks, la edición 2026 of the International Security Hall (Sicur), organized by Ifema Madrid of the 24 al 27 February, the celebration of Sicur Cyber is a key event to understand, anticipate and curb the risks that today define vulnerability in this regard.

Three months before what will be its 25ª edition, the exhibition area of this contest is complete, and in which the organization's commitment to cybersecurity stands out and the participation of leaders in this field, to delve into the convergence between physical and digital security, abordando cómo la protección de las organizaciones exige una visión unificada capaz de gestionar riesgos híbridos.

Las sesiones de Sicur Cyber 2026 analizarán en detalle el impacto de la integración de sistemas, la necesidad de anticiparse a amenazas cada vez más sofisticadas y el papel de la tecnología como facilitador de modelos de seguridad más resilientes.

Otro de los bloques estratégicos del programa se centrará en el marco normativo, con especial atención a las directivas NIS2 y CER, para reforzar la resiliencia de las infraestructuras críticas y los servicios esenciales en toda la Unión Europea. Esta perspectiva regulatoria se completará con debates vinculados al National Security Framework, con especial foco en los dispositivos, as IP cameras and access control systems, whose proper governance is critical to minimize vulnerabilities.

Sicur Cyber will also feature spaces dedicated to innovation, public funding and support for security projects, aimed at promoting the technological modernization of companies and administrations.

Also, during its celebration the importance of cybersecurity management in physical security systems, an area where technological dependence is growing exponentially. Along with this, he National Cybersecurity Forum will provide the institutional and strategic vision on the challenges and opportunities of the Spanish ecosystem.

Given its unstoppable penetration, a significant part of the program will be dedicated to the role of the IA como ‘nuevo guardián corporativo’, en el que se analizará cómo transforma la detección de amenazas, la automatización de procesos y la toma de decisiones.

La evolución de la ingeniería de seguridad será otro elemento primordial para pasar de un enfoque reactivo a un modelo basado en el control preventivo y la convergencia total de disciplinas. Todo ello se completará con análisis sobre el estado actual de la cibercriminalidad, un fenómeno global en constante evolución que requiere estrategias coordinadas y multidisciplinares.
