Amper is awarded a security project for large events in Brazil

The information and communication technology company Amper has achieved, through its subsidiary Medidata, and in consortium with Rontan, a company specialized in vehicle adaptation, a security project “unprecedented” in Brazil related to the major sporting events that are going to take place in the Rio country in the coming years (World 2014 and Rio Olympic Games 2016).

He Ampper Gropos, through its subsidiary Medidata, has been awarded in consortium with Rontan, an innovative project of Integrated Mobile Command and Control Centers (CiCCM), whose purpose is the management of public security and civil defense actions for the Major Events that will take place in Brazil starting in 2013. The project, which is unprecedented in Brazil, It is linked to the Extraordinary Secretariat of Security for Large Events, belonging to the Ministry of Justice.

The objective is the creation of special vehicles with the capacity of integrated operations center and that can follow in real time the warnings of the emergency agencies that will act in events.. So, it will be possible, that in any part of the territory a single point of contact is established to manage security and civil defense communications of all agencies, without prejudice to the infrastructure conditions of the locality where the vehicle is traveling, ensuring continuity of accurate decision making under any circumstance.

The initiative has national scope, since each of the twelve host cities of the World Cup 2014 It will have at least two vehicles. The award has been 27 vehicles, with a total acquisition value of 92 million Brazilian reals.

This operation is part of the new business plan of the Amper Group, for which it has the support of its shareholder Veremonte in the Latin American and Brazilian markets.
