Bosch Security Systems has added to its range of affordable professional CCTV solutions, Advantage Line, dome cameras compatible with the ONVIF Forum within its IP Camera series 200.

IP Camera Series 200 of Bosch Security Systems has been expanded with new compact dome cameras compatible with the ONVIF platform (Open Network Video Interface Forum). Compliance with the ONVIF agreement means that the new series works fully with the rest of ONVIF surveillance products., providing users with greater freedom to specify a system and allowing them to save on investments.

Each camera has a Secure Digital flash memory card (SD) to store several days of recorded video without connecting to a PC. No technical knowledge required to configure the cameras: the user simply inserts the DS card, Plug in the camera and you can view and record it instantly.

The solution can be easily expanded by connecting a video recorder such as the Divar Series 700 from Bosch or an iSCSI server. Besides, Efficient H.264 compression reduces storage needs by up to 30% compared to usual surveillance technology, which represents a significant cost saving.

The cameras' exclusive surveillance software allows remote viewing on a PC of multiple cameras. Video can be archived for later use or to quickly locate specific events via a smart search function .
