The latest version of this manufacturer's video surveillance software introduces support for I/O modules, a Central Management System (Cms) safer and more secure settings in the Live View interface.

Synology Surveillance Station 7-2

Synology has available on the market the version 7.2 of your video surveillance software, whose strength is "its greatest versatility and interoperability, that fit into a wide variety of security facilities, regardless of size," explains Jonathan Wang, product manager for Synology Surveillance Station-. We've improved and refined our CMS and Live View interface to make them even safer and more profitable".

When connected to I/O modules, Surveillance Station 7.2 functions as a central axis for the handling of various automatic devices, like Led lights, electromagnetic locks, motion detectors, Etc. Fully integrated with Synology Central Management System and Action Rules, the I/O module application in Surveillance Station can be used to manage a dozen activation methods and intelligently interact with other devices.

Synology Surveillance Station 7-1This new version integrates QuickConnect into the CMS, allowing you to connect servers without having network knowledge. Also, now supports HTTPS for server-to-server communication. CMS users can also receive combined notifications for similar events, so that the flow of information is clear and accurate.

With Surveillance Station 7.2, frame intervals can be manually configured to find balance during video encoding: the decrease in time between them increases the overall stability of the current and the quality, while reducing broadband consumption.

For its part, Surveillance Station Live View automatically reorders depending on the number of camera sequences being played automatically. In addition, e-Maps have improved to be clearer: it is possible to place or hide variable-sized icons such as IP cameras, fisheye, I/O modules or door controllers.

It also integrates NVR216, allowing for a complete renewal of the user privilege system and making it easier for administrators to create, delete or assign privileges directly from the device interface, displayed on a local monitor via an HDMI cable.

Surveillance Station 7.2 can be downloaded for free from Synology Package Center on all DiskStation and RackStation devices from the manufacturer running DSM 6.0 and above, as well as NVR216.
