The multirotor Ixion exhibited at the fair is designed to perform scheduled perimeter surveillance functions. Allows the detection of people, vehicles or heat sources in by-default areas, then send alarms and images in real time.

Ixion Sicur 2016 multirotor

Since it will be created in 2011, Ixion has attended the international security hall meeting on time, Sicur, and in this year's edition he has participated as one of the exhibiting companies to show his new generation of unmanned vehicles, specialized in industrial safety tasks, private security and perimeter surveillance.

In his stand could be seen two of his autonomous vehicles: an RPAS (Remotely Piloted Aircraft – remotely controlled aircraft) and a UGV (unmanned ground vehicle).

Ixion Sicur 2016 UGV and droneIn order to achieve a highly configurable vehicle, completely autonomous and easy to handle, Ixion has developed the hardware and software needed to perform the missions through a number of advanced features: detecting and avoiding obstacles, automatic landing and take-off, distance maintenance and on-board computational vision.

All missions are detailed from the control station, whose software allows the planning and monitoring of intelligent and autonomous missions, without requiring an experienced pilot to do so.

The platform can run its mission in autonomous mode, without direct operator intervention, although it should monitor it and can take control in case it is required.

From the increased manual mode it is possible to control certain variables by the operator, allowing safer and easier navigation.

The autonomous security multirotor ixion exhibited at SICUR 2016 allows you to autonomously traverse a perimeter that has been previously defined. Automatically takes off at scheduled times, performs the perimeter route that has been programmed over GIS and lands autonomously.

In addition, professional drones, like the one they've exhibited at the security fair held at IFEMA, incorporate the technology needed to perform automatic surveillance tasks, allowing the detection of people, vehicles or heat sources in by-default areas, with the consequent sending of alarms and images in real time to the plant.

Ixion's professional RPAS integrates Acude technology, allowing the multirotor to connect to the installation's security center, which sends alarm information to the UAV operator station so that a route is planned and the UAV can move to the indicated point, sending images in real time.

At SICUR 2016, Ixion has also shown an unmanned ground vehicle, equipped with the technology needed to carry out autonomous security and surveillance tasks. This UGV conducts perimeter surveillance rounds, pre-programmed on the area or infrastructure level. The autonomous vehicle is capable of detecting specific elements and generating alarms, operate unattended and perform night watch tasks.

Ixion Sicur 2016 multirotorOn the other hand, Ixion has designed a multi-circuiter aimed at meeting the needs of State Security Forces in surveillance tasks, tactical reconnaissance flights or search and rescue operations.

To suit the requirements of this segment, it also allows the establishment of points of interest, who will always be pointed at by the camera, and the definition of areas over which the multi-circuiter should not fly. In addition, this type of system is equipped with visible spectrum and infrared cameras, that can be exchanged if necessary and recorded geolocated.

Vehicles involved in such missions have an encrypted communication channel and a security system for emergencies, called Fail-Safe, with which you can set up actions such as home return or controlled emergency landing.
