Networked fire and voice evacuation solution for industrial environments

The installation of networked Bosch Security Systems fire plants and evacuation systems to provide maximum safety in complex installations composed of several buildings has been the proposal chosen by T. Trakt.r., a benchmark in tractor manufacturing in Turkey, for your new factory.

A few 50 Km. off the Black Sea coast, in the Turkish town of Erenler, the new tractor factory is located, built with ecological processes and systems that provide low energy and water consumption. It is a complex of buildings, more than 69.000 square meters, with modern paintships, assembly chains and quality control laboratories, with open areas of some 200.000 square meters.

For your new factory, He needed a reliable and flexible solution for early and sensitive fire detection that was integrated with the voice evacuation system, and with an efficient response to false alarms.

For this project, Bosell, local partner Bosch Security, designed and installed an integrated solution based on the FPA series modular fire plant 5000 of this manufacturer and in its digital public address and voice evacuation system Praesideo.

Specifically,, four networked fire plants have been installed in different parts of the building complex, supporting more than 650 fire detectors, including eight air suction smoke detectors with industrial filters, as well as third-party products for explosion-protected environments.

The factory's fire detection solution is integrated with the evacuation system throughout the facility, which supports multiple zones for targeted messages and for the rapid evacuation of fire-affected areas, composed of twenty-two amplifiers and about five hundred sound projectors and speakers to ensure maximum intelligibility of the message throughout the factory. Critical areas are covered by tapered speakers with explosion protection.

Based on a modular design and open connectivity standards, Bosell has implemented an integrated and scalable security system, composed of mechanical components, such as air treatment and exhaust systems, as well as effective detection technology against false alarms.
