José Soria Descalzo in his new role as Chief Operating Officer will focus on the operational control and optimization of business processes of Tyco IF&S Iberia.

Jose Soria, Operations Director Tyco IF&S IberiaTyco Integrated Fire & Security has appointed José Soria Descalzo Director of Operations with the aim of focusing on operational control and business process optimization in Iberia.

Soria's main goals in his new role will be to guide the company's processes towards customer satisfaction and improve business efficiency. To do this, will be based on three key aspects: boosting information processes for decision-making, optimize the management of purchases of products and services, to obtain the best conditions of cost and quality, and maximize the company's resources by improving planning and operational execution processes.

José Soria has a degree in Telecommunications Engineering, in the specialty Microelectronics, with an IESE MBA and the Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt certificate. He has more than 20 years in the telecommunications sector in technology-related positions, manufacturing, project management and continuous improvement in multinationals in the Teleco sector.

"Its more than 5 years of security industry experience in Operational Excelence positions, Lean Six Sigma focused on business improvement, process definition and excellence in customer service, make him the ideal person to lead this Operations business unit”, says Juan Yera, President of Tyco Integrated Fire & Security Iberia.
