Synology updated its Surveillance Station video surveillance program. The version 7.0 offers a more intuitive interface and new features that make it more versatile allowing integration with physical access controllers.

The beta version 7.0 of the video surveillance program Synology, Surveillance Station, offers a completely redesigned interface, customizable and linked event rules, integration for physical access controllers. In addition, supports the most specialized IP cameras and the Onvif standard 2.4.

The user interface at Surveillance Station 7.0 has been redesigned and rebuilt from scratch. Intuitive design emphasizes ease of use, multitasking and practical organization. While design settings offer a more intuitive experience, the new Alerts Panel for Live View Analytics allows you to inspect, easily play back and save suspicious events.

To make it easier to automate tasks, Surveillance Station 7.0 expands the functionality of action instructions, so it is possible to automatically carry out a wider range of tasks, either following a schedule or when predefined events occur. For example, if a camera goes offline, another can start by patrolling a specific area in response.

When combined with the solution Axis Network Door Controller, surveillance personnel can monitor, lock and unlock, or access the logs view of the connected doors from the new interface.

Surveillance Station 7.0 offers greater integration for specialized camera functions such as object tracking, digital output and two-way audio, allowing for a flexible surveillance system, adapted to its characteristic environment. In addition, includes a function to display images taken with fisheye cameras from the wall and ceiling without distortions.

By incorporating the Onvif standard 2.4, with this release you can take advantage of interoperability for a more flexible installation, with standard features like multiple transmission, the motion detection camera, digital input/output, audio output, NTP synchronization or daily and night exposure modes.
