DCNS security specialists at tomorrowland International Festival, the largest electronic music in the world that takes place in the Belgian town of Boom and that this year celebrates its tenth edition, have relied on panasonic IP video surveillance solutions.

Panasonic has supplied thirty IP video surveillance cameras to ensure the safety of artists and the thousands of fans of electronic music who come to the Belgian town of Boom to the Tomorrowland International Festival, that on the occasion of its tenth edition has extended its appointment this year one more weekend, of the 25 To 27 July (view information published in Digital AV Magazine).

Panasonic surveillance cameras have been chosen by dcns security solutions specialists, responsible in addition to controlling the flow of attendees and solving problems during the festival, as part of the agreement signed with Id&T Belgium, organizer of this event.

This is how Gust Dierckx explains it., director of DCNS: "the success of our mission depends on the equipment we deploy at the festival site. We use Panasonic surveillance cameras for the high quality of their images and the advanced technical functions that integrate, that assure us that we will carry out our work correctly in Tomorrowland".

At each event, DCNS has installed a fiber optic main network and a wireless network throughout the enclosure, that constitute the basis of a Wi-Fi network specially designed to control Panasonic IP cameras from the festival control center. In addition, Panasonic phones have also been installed to perform internal and external communications during the event, which started over the weekend of the 18 July.

Panasonic Tomorrowland2014As Debby Wilmsen explains, ID Communications Director&T Belgium, "Panasonic surveillance cameras allow our event control center observers to monitor the entire festival venue to detect any potential risks and react immediately. A good network with reliable equipment is of great importance to offer guarantees of security and control in a festival".

In this sense, Id&T Belgium has communicated that in 2015 the Tomorrowland International Festival will celebrate three editions, the traditional of Belgium, and in Brazil and Atlanta (United States), and that in all of them will be used panasonic video surveillance devices.
