The new vehicle access control system just introduced by Grupo Spec identifies registrations with the barrier raised, avoiding traffic jams. Detects, using small miniTAG devices, bikes and motorbikes and is able to tell if a pedestrian is accessing through the driveway.

Spec control vehicle accesses

The SPEC Group has a vehicle access control system that, compared to traditional solutions, allows the dynamic passage of cars with lifts identifying license plates as they pass.

Traditional vehicle access control systems can cause traffic congestion problems, because of his detention at the barrier to identify him. The system developed by the Spec Group incorporates a license plate reader that allows the access barrier to remain open from the time the first authorized vehicle enters until the time a license plate is detected that is not allowed access or passage of the last vehicle.

Vehicle barrierIdentification of motorbikes, bikes and pedestrians

For motorbikes and bicycles, the system uses small miniTAG devices that identify them by proximity. The whole system is similar to the one used in tolls to pay without having to stop.
License plate readers and miniTAGs are managed by a PLC system that raises or lowers barriers according to a series of scheduled instructions.

Security and agile access is complemented by traffic light systems that tell the user what actions they can or should take.

Within the solution is implemented a method of pedestrian detection, where means that an intrusion alarm alerts the guard at the entrance to a person's building walking in the area reserved for the passage of vehicles.
