The Panomorph lens from ImmerVision that Arecont has incorporated into its series of MegaBall video surveillance cameras 2 generates images with 180-degree and 360-degree coverages, including peripheral details.

The American manufacturer Arecont Vision has available the MegaBall series 2, an affordable video surveillance solution for capturing images with a wide viewing angle (180 360 degrees), thanks to the incorporation of the Panomorphic lens of ImmerVision, with digital correction of the final image and more resolution than in scenes captured with conventional wide-angle lenses.

Arecont Vision MegaBall 2 DomesThe new MegaBall2 cameras with Panomorphic lens have 5 megapixel resolution, including H.264 compression (MPEG-4 Part 10)/MJPEG; programmable privacy masks; motion detection with up to 1.024 programmable detection zones; Improved functionality in low light conditions through pixel clustering; adjustment or cropping of the image at the discretion of the user and PoE or external power.

These functionalities are integrated into a compact and aesthetic design for indoor video surveillance applications, with three position adjustment axes, in format with wall and ceiling support (even recessed) and with black or light grey finishes.
