The Aeryon Scout drone has been the main protagonist of Siemens' presentation to the media at SICUR 2014. In addition, has released different developments for fire protection, intelligent solutions for critical infrastructures and inspection and detection areas.

Siemens Drone Sicur 2014

Siemens is present at SICUR 2014, being held at the Madrid Fairgrounds (Fema), through its division Building Technologies and has taken advantage of its assistance to present its latest developments in the areas of fire protection and safety solutions, the latter detained by Tecosa, Siemens Group company.

In the security environment for critical infrastructures, Siemens, through Tecosa, has introduced the latest generation unmanned aerial system Aeryon Scou. With a autonomy of 25 minutes and a weight 1,3 kilos this drone is easy to assemble, deploy and manage, provided quality images even in adverse conditions, with wind and rain. Supports winds up to 50 km per hour with bursts of 65 temperatures of –30/50 degrees.

Siemens Drone Sicur 2014UAV unmanned aerial systems (Ummaned Aircraft System) can be used for strategic sectors such as rail, Energy, defense or security. Its civilian and military applications range from security perimeter monitoring or border surveillance to search and rescue support.

In this environment for critical infrastructure also highlights the new version of Siveillance SitelQ WA, that goes beyond traditional video surveillance systems, by staffing security managers with a tool that allows them to stop, proactively, any raid attempts on the security perimeter of a critical facility before the intrusion occurs. The system allows you to show what is happening in real time in the restricted access areas of the installation on a single screen.

Siemens at Sicur 2014Fire protection

On fire protection, Siemens has shown the latest technology in dry extinguishing and suction detection systems. The main novelty is the Silent Nozzle, designed to keep noise levels below 100 dB during the extinction process, especially suitable for data centers, control rooms and computer centers.

In the field of detection, the company has introduced the Sinteso FDA221 and FDA241 aspiration detectors, a modern and advanced technology that allows to identify and distinguish between smoke and dust, avoiding false alarms and allowing to obtain technical signal indicator of dusty environment.

Siemens at Sicur 2014Inspection and detection

As news in the area of inspection and detection, the main novelty Siemens has made known in the framework of the International Safety Hall is the Smiths Heimann HI-SCAN 6040-2is x-ray inspection team. With double view, automatically detects liquid explosives and is ideal for airports, official buildings or other critical infrastructures in which a large number of people are concentrated.

This combined with the latest generation CEIA metal detector arcs, designed to fit anywhere (Airports, Prisons, Stadiums...), make buildings safer centers.

Connectivity and security

From your Remote Operations Center (Cor), Siemens manages maintenance with the highest levels of facility safety of more than 600 Customers. In addition, has expanded its service offering with the development of a new connectivity system, Service 2.0, that through a real-time connection provides a high level of data security and privacy in technical assistance in fire protection and building automation. A service that is profiled as a differentiating element to ensure maximum safety of buildings and people.

Hotel chain AC Marriot has relied on this new service and Siemens oversees the anti-fire system 15 hotels that the group has in Spain, which guarantees you a higher level of security in your establishments.
