Bosch Security Systems has new specification software, Windows-based, to support planners and consultants in the development of any type of public address system or voice alarm project.

Bosch soft tender alarm voice and magafonia

available, for now, In English, the tender programme it has developed Bosch Security Systems for the installation of public address projects and voice alarms allows the creation of the specifications and the generation of a bill of materials that lists the central equipment that is used and an estimate of the speakers needed in the various areas of application, as well as a calculation of the space for the rack and the necessary reserve energy.

For ease of use, new Bosch software offers easy navigation, clear terminology and help with specific language, all integrated into the user interface. Users are guided through all the stages necessary for the generation of the output offer and bill of materials.

Based on a general selection of the standards that must be met, followed by project-specific information in audio zones, workstations, central equipment and interface with other systems. The program also helps with voice alarm standards through explanations of mandatory standards, as the European voice alarm EN 54, EN sub-standards 54 and EN clauses 54.

Users who want to determine the correct speaker for an audio zone, but who do not know how many speakers will be needed as well as the background noise levels in applications, as railway stations, office buildings or libraries, can make use of the information provided by the built-in database. Once the application type has been selected, the program generates a list of the most suitable speakers and suggests the amount required.

This Bosch specification software is compatible with the requirements for integration with other systems normally found in these applications, as flight information, building management or fire alarms. When this option is set, the draft tender is updated with the specifications for the connections and the integrated solution.

It is also possible to customize the tender documentation by adding or removing elements from the standard template and by creating your own specification documents. Customer data can be imported directly from Microsoft Outlook, while company logos and contact information can be added.
