Avigilon has unveiled LightCatcher technology that provides a way to capture color details in low-light environments.

The new technology of Avigilon it is called LightCatcher with which it is possible to identify objects of interest in difficult lighting situations such as restaurants, Bars, Hotels, parking lots and narrow streets.

Avigilon SecurityBy increasing the amount of light and detail captured through the camera and decreasing noise in the image, LightCatcher technology produces significantly more color detail of a low-light scene than any other technology. This combination results in the ability to identify objects of interest more effectively .

Avigilon cameras with LightCatcher technology will integrate 1,3 Megapixel, removable IR filter, Power over Ethernet with power input of 24 VDC or 12 VAC and Audio I/O. They will be compatible with ONVIF and will have full compatibility with Avigilon Control Center software.
